The Diocese of Cyprus and the Gulf
The Right Reverend Sean Semple is the sixth Bishop of the Diocese of Cyprus and the Gulf. His service of consecration and enthronement was held at St Christopher’s Cathedral, Bahrain on 24 May 2024. He was enthroned in St Paul’s Cathedral, Nicosia on 22 June 2024.
Our Vision is to be a diocese of the Anglican Communion offering Christian belonging and witness in the historic biblical lands of Cyprus and the Gulf. Our Mission is to be a visible Christian presence of love, compassion and integrity in the countries of the Diocese.
